Rik De Lisle
Director ALAN BURNS & ASSOCIATES/Europe

Rik has over 30 years of Radio experience. He began his broadcasting career at KTFM in San Antonio , Texas in 1968. In the late 60's and early 70's he worked as DJ, Music Director, and finally as Network News Director at various AFN station in South East Asia, Portugal and West Germany. In 1977, he was named "European Presenter of the Year".

In 1984 he joined RIAS2, a groundbreaking radio station that won more than 30% of the market share in West Berlin in the first 90 days.

In 1993 after being named PD of r.s.2 he and his team successfully revamped the station, dramatically increasing the number of listeners. r.s.2 went from fifth place in the market to number one 30 to 39 year olds.

Since its inception, in 1997 , Alan Burns and Associates/Europe has grown from one station in Schleswig Holstein, Germany to 18 stations in 4 European countries. With our help, 6 major market stations have become #1 in their markets.

Included in our client list is KISSFM Germany's first R&B station and DELTA RADIO, Germanys first and only Alternative format station.

Ralf Mothil
Consultant for ALAN BURNS & Associates/Europe

Ralf Mothil began his career in 1986 at Germany's first commercial radio station RSH, where he worked as the morning show host. And later as editor-in-chief. During his time at RSH Mothil helped leading the station to number one in the market and making it Germany's most successful radio station, with a share of more than 38%.

In 1995, Mothil moved to Berlin, where he became editor-in-chief of r.s.2, responsible for program content and the station's disc jockeys. In 1997 Mothil was promoted program director. Within three years under his guidance, r.s 2 became the market leader for the first time in the history of the station. The station was and still is consulted by Alan Burns himself.

As a consultant for ALAN BURNS & Associates Mothil is working with stations all over Europe, successfully helping them to improve their performance, their ratings and their revenues. Among them are market leading stations like Hit-Radio Antenne1 in Stuttgart and Warsaw's Radio WAWa, which went from #7 to #2 fourteen plus within one year and was selected as "Poland's radio station of the year 2001".

Frank Wilkat
Consultant for ALAN BURNS & ASSOCIATES/EUROPE

Frank Wilkat began his Radio career in 1992. Wilkat learned Radio from the ground up. As DJ, Promotion Director, News Director Music Director and Morning Show Host. Wilkat his team successfully re-launched DELTA Radio in 1999 as Germany's first and only Alternative Rock Radio Station. That resulted in the best market shares ever at DELTA.

In 2000 Frank Wilkat left DELTA for Radio PSR in Sachsen as APD where he was responsible for a format change to European A/C. As a result of the "re-launch" PSR became the Saxonian market leader with a share of 31.6 % 14 to 49.

In 2001 Wilkat left PSR to become PD at NRJ Sachsen. At NRJ he optimized the structure of the station and helped reformat NRJ as Saxony's first CHR station.

Wilkat is music programming expert. He has worked as music consultant for: 98.8KISS.FM - Berlin, MIX95.0 and ALSTER RADIO - Hamburg, OLDIE.FM - Leipzig.

Dietmar Mammitzsch
Business Manager for ALAN BURNS & ASSOCIATES/Europe

He began his career at the entertainment division of East Germany's central radio and television unit, DFF in 1967. Mammitzsch graduated from the DFF Academy with a diploma in television and film production. From 1977 on, he worked as a freelance director and producer in the television and entertainment industry. In 1992, he began working as advisor, public relations manager and agent for German radio and television personalities including Rik DeLisle and Victoria Hermann.

Mammitzsch has been managing the financial department of Alan Burns & Associates European Division since the offices opened in 1997. He is also responsible for approaching potential clients, and promoting and marketing Alan Burns & Associates' European branch.
